About our "All American" Team

Hi, and thanks for your interest in All American Screen Printing.  We know how much trust you’re placing in us when you order our custom decorated apparel and realize that you may have questions about our company, our quality and our prices.  As you read our story and peruse our website, you will get answers to your questions and a sense of who we are and what we are all about!


All American Screen Printing was created in 1988 due to the necessity of supporting a young family.  We have to admit that for the first couple of years, we were on a learning curve.  It takes time to master any craft and screen-printing is no exception.  It’s not like you can wake up one morning and say, “Hey, I want to be a potter today,” and expect your first clay pots will earn you a spot in the Detroit Institute of Art.

 
At All American, we believe screen-printing is an art. Each person has his or her own special talents and we strive to match the right person with the right job.  That is why there is a distinct area of expertise for each person in the Company.   We have 3 ink artists and each of them bring something extra special to the table.  Lianne, our Production Manager, has over 20 years experience with screen-printing.  She is responsible for the excellent quality that we are so proud of at All American.  She is a whiz at hiring the perfect blend of personalities in our production area.

 
Over the last 8 years, we have developed and implemented a growth plan for the company.  By following our plan, there came a day when the marketing person could focus on marketing and the designer could focus exclusively on designing.  All of our employees have the same goals in mind which is to implement the objectives that All American has laid out in our “Core Values.”

Our Core Values...

Early in the building of our Company we set up some “Core Values” that we make every effort to implement with our customers and employees.  These values place integrity at the top of the list.  Honorable character, loyalty, honesty, commitment, a positive can-do attitude, quality product, reasonable prices, and giving to others less fortunate are the kind of ideals we strive towards.  As a matter of fact, we believe one of the primary reasons that we have been around for so long is because of our commitment to give to others. 

Just over half way into the life of our Company, we made an important discovery.  We found that we could have greater success and drive as a team if we were working towards something a little more significant than just reaching monetary goals and quotas.  It all began with the tragedy on 9-11-01.  Feeling absolutely helpless about what was happening in our country and the sorrow and grief that we all experienced forged an idea that would help us to raise more than $120,000 for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.  That marked a definite change in the direction for our Company.  It was more than, “What can we earn for ourselves?”  It became, “What could we earn to give back to our local and extended community?”  We have found that if we focus on the needs of others, our own needs are provided in abundance!

 
On our website you will be able to read some of the highlighted stories that our local News Agencies have featured about All American.  Some of those include over $25,000 given for morale packages to our Troops in the Middle East and $10,000 for Hurricane Katrina aid raised by a local radio station from the shirts we donated.

 
Currently we are running a great T-shirt campaign to encourage the Detroit area school children stay in school and get into college or trade school.  According to (cite source here), ½ of Detroit’s inner city children will drop out of school by age 16.  We love Detroit and have great hopes for the City so we support people and programs that are trying to make a difference.   For example, a local pastor started one program to help kids stay in school with one-on-one mentoring.
